3D Still Life with themes and Objects from The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

3D still life project from this semester modelled and rendered mostly in Maya. Textured with Substance 3D. Will post a breakdown soon of individual objects with their turntables and references. The keys and Sword are modelled off 2D graphics from the book covers. The open book and paper stars contain stories from the book. The paper stars are folded like real origami from a flat plane. This was very difficult and I couldn’t bevel it in the end which is why it looks a bit flat, but it was an interesting experiment. I designed the Box myself using Descriptions from the book and motifs and filigree taken from old antique boxes. The clock is modelled after a Howard Miller Clock and the book in the pile I designed myself using descriptions from the book. There are still many things I would like to change, particularly with the twine, the honey jar and the bee disc. I will hopefully update this post when I get to it :D
